HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

5^th Grade students will be taking the NYS Social Studies Assessment on November 16 & 17.  A detailed letter will be sent out to parents of students in grade 5.  Our students are well prepared thanks to the outstanding efforts of our academic team.  I wish all of the children "Good Luck!"

The Covert Wrapping Paper Sale was a huge success!  Students raised over $10,000 and because of this, they were able to Wrap DRAY!  The kids loved wrapping me in the auditorium and were excited about raising so much money - Good Job Covert Kids!

Mad Hot Ballroom is on fire at Covert!  Students truly love this wonderful enrichment program and it is unbelievable to see how much they have learned in the short time they have practicing with Ms. Daniele from ABT.  Our "big" performance will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 7:00 PM at SSMS.  Ms. DeRosa, Mr. Figaro and Ms. Gross have been working with our PTA to organize this very special event.  All proceeds will be donated to The Raymar Children's Fund.

We are very excited to have our 3rd Annual School- wide Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, November 24.  The entire school will dine together in celebration of the holiday in the gymnasium.  A special thank you to Sue Knab for organizing this wonderful, spirited event is in order.
