Physical Education "We are more than just play" Physical education is a comprehensive developmental program focused on the education of the whole person. As a result of continued participation in a directed physical activity sequence throughout the Middle School, basic skills are incorporated into a variety of complelx experiences including game, sport, fitness, risk challenging and leisure activities. Physical education applies the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to establish and sustain a lifelong pattern of regular activity which leads to a healthy, productive and self-fulfilling life. The learning environment provides continued opportunities for personal and group challenges. Cooperative behavior and respect for individual differences are essential for completion of group tasks.
